FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. (August 22, 2017) – SegPay, a global leader in digital payment processing, today announced the launch of its new Ideas Portal, a hub for merchants to share feedback and suggestions to improve the company’s service. SegPay’s Ideas Portal serves as a central location to collect new feature suggestions and enhancements. It guarantees that all merchant feedback will be received and considered.
Based on merchant feedback, the company has already developed new features and enhancements to improve the user experience of its recently launched merchant portal. The Ideas Portal encourages merchants to keep sharing their thoughts and ideas on how to make SegPay better.
“Our merchants have been giving us great insight on the features they need, and we’ve been listening,” said Cathy Beardsley, CEO of SegPay. “We developed our Ideas Portal because we wanted to let our clients know that they have a voice in what we do. There’s no better place to get advice than directly from merchants who use the portal every day.”
Based on the feedback so far, some of the current features undergoing updates include:
- Retention tools – SegPay is working hard to allow the reactivation of cancelled subscriptions and the ability to suspend or temporarily pause subscriptions.
- Alternative payments – SegPay’s planned alternative payments include SEPA, Giropay, iDEAL, EPS, Astropay, Trustpay, PostFinance, Teleingreso and more.
Merchants are encouraged to check the Ideas Portal to see what suggestions are in the pipeline, and vote for their favorites.
“We want our merchant portal to be an ongoing, collaborative process,” said Jeff Rozenzweig, VP of Operations at SegPay. “We encourage merchants to continue to provide feedback for what they want. For example, are there specific retention tools or alternative payments they want to see? What other features and reports would be helpful for them? Our clients’ ideas matter, and we want to hear them.”
The company’s merchant portal was updated last month to include new and enhanced capabilities for SegPay clients. The updates made the portal faster and simpler to navigate. It also now provides an intuitive interface so merchants can easily pull reports to see the latest metrics about transactions on the site. With the updated portal, business owners can access and manage account information from virtually any device at any time.
