Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. (January 15, 2024)–Segpay, a pioneer in digital payment processing, announced today its sponsorship of a key session at XBIZ LA. The session, titled Compliance in the Age of Fan Sites, Cams and AI will take place Tuesday, January 16, 2023, at 12:00 PM inside the Nichols II Ballroom at the Kimpton Everly Hotel. The workshop session is designed to help merchants best navigate baking requirements to processes user-generated content and will be led by Segpay CEO Cathy Beardsley and a panel of industry experts.
“Merchants may wonder, how do I stay compliant with all these tech rules, and we felt it was important to offer a forum where we could get everyone together and break it down,” said Beardsley. “We hope people will walk away with great tips because if you can’t process transactions, you can’t get paid.”

During the 50-minute session, attendees will get a good idea of what content moderation for user generated content really means in real, understandable terms. Merchants will also learn about what drove the industry to need so many polices, what are some of the common issues, and how to implement polices to protect yourself.
“Even if you don’t have user generated content, you still should have internal policies for content and affiliate review,” Beardsley adds.
