After attending our first SubSummit last month (which went well!) the Segpay team is making another debut show appearance, this time at Startupfest, July 9-12 in the great city of Montreal.
As you might guess from the name, the show is aimed at helping startup businesses, with everything from identifying funding sources to solving the myriad challenges that come with launching and running your own venture. Startupfest brings together entrepreneurs, investors, thought leaders and more for a week of networking, sharing ideas and, of course, having some fun.
Working with startups has long been a Segpay specialty, since (by definition) startups often don’t have a payment processing history – and can leverage our banking relationships to secure a merchant account and begin building a reputation with the banks and credit card brands. Just as importantly, Segpay can handle everything from accepting payments to fielding consumer billing inquiries to managing risk and fraud – the kinds of things that can divert a founder’s attention from his or her core business precisely when that focus is needed most.
Segpay now offers merchant services in Canada, so if you plan on attending Startupfest we hope to have a chance to meet and find out how we can help you.
