In a move to accommodate the preferences of even more paying consumers, Segpay has expanded the types of credits cards it accepts for payment. (Warning: Obvious Statement ahead)… When more consumers can use their preferred payment methods, it generally means more business for our merchants, and that’s why we’re here!
No longer limited to the standard 16-digit cards, consumers can now pay for services via Segpay using Maestro (in the UK) along with other non-traditional 12-19 digit cards.
Certain card types are still not accepted, including Amex and Diner’s Club, however Segpay will track how often these cards are attempted, and in the not-too-distant future add support for the most frequently-used cards.
