October 14th starts National Business Women’s Week here in the US, but Segpay CEO Cathy Beardsley will commemorate the occasion overseas – by attending the 2nd annual European Women Payments Network Conference and Awards, October 15-16 in Amsterdam.
Segpay is an official sponsor for this year’s EWPN, which brings together women who work in finance and payments. According to its website, EWPN creates “a positive arena where women can come together to discuss issues relating to Women in FinTech (Payments) Leadership, female founders, bridging the gender gap, pushing more diversity and inspiring future generations of girls into the sector.”
Cathy will speak on a Fireside Chat panel Tuesday the 16th discussing Mental Health and Work, which will cover topics such as dealing with stress and burnout and what employers can do to help. The panel will also explore why women may be more prone to work-related burnout than men (according to new research) and whether men and women deal with stress and burnout differently.
