Merchants who’ve asked for more transactional postbacks will be happy to see that up to four can now be sent for every transaction. More data is also available in Merchant Portal reports starting today. Here’s a complete list of our pre-holiday updates:
More transactional postbacks
Now you can add up to four transactional postbacks, up from two. Affiliate programs, such as Segpay’s, can require multiple transaction postbacks on their own, so you now have added flexibility as to where else to share your transactional data.
Report on Free Trial Validations
We recently introduced Free Trial Validations when you want to ensure that only valid cards are accepted for your free trials. Now you can track free trial validation usage in Detail Ledger and Transaction Detail reports.
Drill down into declined transactions
Now you can learn more from the Declined Transactions report, by clicking the Purchase ID, which links to detailed information about the decline.
Include Reactivations and Post Pay in Transaction Detail
We recently introduced Reactivations to help customer retention, and Post Pay to give cam sites more control with less risk. You can report on both in the Transaction Detail Report by selecting Advanced Options to include these these new transaction types:
See how chargebacks are doing at each bank
If you process at more than one bank, you can now see how your chargeback activity compares at each bank. The Chargeback Rates report now includes the bank name, and you can group the report by that, as well as by date.
Better feedback for consumers when transactions decline
We’ve added more detail to the reasons displayed for consumers on the payment page when a transaction is declined, ensuring people have the best info to help them decide what action to take after a failed payment attempt.
More information in consumer searches.
