Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. (February 28, 2024)–Segpay, a pioneer in digital payment processing, announced today that its CEO, Cathy Beardsley, has been named one of American Banker’s 2024 Most Influential Women in Payments. She and others selected will be recognized at the American Banker Payments Forum, which is taking place in Hollywood, Florida.
Each year, American Banker recognizes and celebrates trailblazing women leaders in the payments sector with the Most Influential Women in Payments program. Since 2013, this initiative has recognized the professional achievements and influence of top-performing women executives who have significantly impacted their people, their businesses, and the industry.

American Banker highlighted Beardsley’s ability to lead Segpay through last year’s economic storm by innovating new ideas to help the company reach its target goals. Segpay was also spotlighted for its ability to help its merchants strengthen their networks to fight against cybercriminals with additional safeguards and fraud gates.

The honorees will be the focal point of a Women in Payments pre-conference leadership exchange on the first morning of PAYMENTS FORUM, which takes place March 27-28 at The Diplomat Resort in Hollywood, Florida. The dedicated sessions are open to all conference attendees. They will feature panels covering various topics, including paths to leadership, the hybrid office’s shifting dynamics, AI’s impacts, and more.
