SegPay will be Fully Operational During Hurricane Irma

Hurricane Eye

As you may know, SegPay is headquartered in South Florida, which is currently in the path of Hurricane Irma, one of the most powerful storms ever recorded in the Atlantic. We have called this area home since 2005 – our entire existence – so we’ve been through this before. And while our main office is in FL, key parts of our operation are spread around the US and the world to ensure we continue delivering the payment services you are counting on, with the least possible disruption during the storm and its aftermath. For example:

Our transaction and reporting servers are located in the northeastern US, with a failover location in the northwest part of the country. Consumer support facilities are in multiple locations as well: the Philippines, Panama, and Puerto Rico.

SegPay’s tech support staff will be on call throughout the storm, and you can expect responses to inquiries within 24-48 hours.

Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns about Irma preparation, or anything else. In the meantime, if you also happen to be in the storm’s projected path, please stay safe!
