SegPay launches US IPSP Service.
SegPay officially launches as one of four US Internet Payment Service Providers (IPSP) that have been approved by Visa USA.
The SegPayUS solution will encompass two business models. The first is the traditional IPSP model that many of the webmaster are familiar with. The second is our SegPay Direct model. In this format, SegPay sponsors merchants on their own direct account. Time for implementation and registration mirrors the existing IPSP model. Additional value add services include a fraud module that allows for customization of risk parameters, custom descriptors, daily deposits by the bank, and the ability to handle their own customer service.
SegPay US continues to offer the security of the webmaster funds always being held by the bank and paid out directly to the bank. This includes both current funds due and reserves. SegPay is the first IPSP to bring this payment security to the IPSP world and eliminates all risk to the webmaster community using the service.
